How to Obtain
In order to acquire the Ultimate Form, the player must go through several hoops and hurdles.
Step 1: Pulling the Z-Sword
Kibito hanging out with the one thing that has less personality than him.
Once the player has reached level 600, they can talk to Kibito on Supreme Kai's planet in the Other World. If the Z-Sword has not spawned he will inform you of when it will, counting down from a 5 minute or 300 second timer. If the Z-Sword has spawned, you will be prompted to play a minigame in which you pull the sword by tapping F at the right time. If you fail, you will have to wait another 5 minutes to try again. If you successfully fill the progression bar, you will pull the Z-Sword and unlock it as a weapon accessory.
Step 2: Breaking the Z-Sword
After acquiring the Z-Sword, the next step is to break it. With every M1 (light hit) the sword lands on an enemy, there is a 1/750 chance (or roughly 0.13% chance) of it breaking. There is no requirement as to where, who or what the Z-Sword must be used on, only that it MUST register as a hit on the combo meter on the left of your screen. For conveniences sake, the Z-Sword can be used on the Dummy in Training Mode that is both immortal and will never fight back, nor attempt to dodge.

Step 3: Talking to the Elder Kai
Upon breaking, a message will display in the top right saying "YOU BROKE THE SACRED SWORD!!!!!!!!!!!! (etc)" and to head to Supreme Kai's World. There, the Elder Kai will have appeared and will offer to unlock your potential, once more resulting in you playing minigames which are similar to the fusion dance to finally unlock the Ultimate Form.

Racial Differences
Depending on the playable race, the Ultimate Form can have and cause a variety of different appearences.
- For Saiyans and Half-Saiyans: Their face turns serious and their hair spikes into their Super Saiyan 2 variant (some hair types have a unique model for Ultimate). There is far more electricity coiling around them, and turning the aura off doesn't totally alleviate this with the occasional arc here and there.
- For Humans and Androids: Their face turns serious, although there is no change in hair model and the bio-electricity is far less prevelant.
- For Namekians: Their skin color will become significantly lighter, (increased hue) their aura color will reflect their new skin color, and their body texture will also lose its abundant, flesh-like lines.
- For Majin and Yardratians: There is no abundance of bio-electricity.
- For Frost Demons and Bio Androids: They will transform into their Final/Perfect Forms respectively; their auras remain typical.
- For Demons: Their aura will take on a black-and-red color palette, with red electricity arcs instead of blue.
- For Kais: Their aura will reflect their primary Ki color, with sparkles replacing the arcing electricity.
- For Bojack's Race and Tuffles: Their hair changes into their SSJ2/Ultimate variants; their auras remain typical.
- For Kanassans: Their body texture will change into a carapace (color reflected by their hair color) not dissimilar from the fur patterns of Super Saiyan 4. Their aura has less electricity.
Bugs
- Spamming F during the Z-Sword minigame will allow you to fill the progression bar faster than intended, each F press counting as an additional pull.
Trivia
- Some players may have had Ultimate Form and Babidi's Mind Control display in their inventories without having gone through the requisite methods. This was changed in a patch on Feb 3rd 2025, disabling them from use if their quests/obtain methods hadn't been accomplished.
